Abstract：Abstract: N. N. Strakhov is not so famous in the reviews of Pushkin. But I argue that his articles about Pushkin, especially the Notes about Pushkin and others published in 1897, have revealed the greatness of the poet. Nevertheless, the valuable conclusions based on the close reading could enrich our knowledge of Pushkin. Pushkin’s contribution, which is revealed by Strakhov, to satirical parody and to the formation of the Russian spiritual heritage is still valuable for research today.
