Abstract：Abstract: The construction of a translated literary canon is one of the focuses in the study of translated literary canon. This paper analyzes the translator’s intentionality and regards the construction of a translated literary canon as the result of the high degree of accordance between the translator’s and the original author’s intentionality. The crucial factor of the canozition of Li Jianwu’s Madame Bovary lies in that Li Jianwu and Flaubert share similar minds, pursuit and art philosophy, that is, the high degree of accordance between Li Jianwu’s and Flaubert’s intentionality in art and literary.
