Abstract:Abstract: While usage-based approaches to SLA research flourishes internationally, it is still at its early stage at home. In order to empower future research, this paper makes a comprehensive review of the state of art. It discusses its theoretical points, reviews the empirical studies on learners’ knowledge of constructions, influence of input on construction acquisition, and construction transfer, and finally looks forward to the research issues and methods in future.
