Abstract：Abstract: Wuthering Heights is the only novel that written by Emily Brontë, and because of its rich imagination, great passion and heart-shaking artistic power, various studies have been made by scholars all over the world. Though there exist many versions of Wuthering Heights at home, the version Huxiao Shanzhuang that named by Yang Yi is considered better. Yang Yi’s version has won great reputation, and it has been researched from various aspects, however, rare studies have been done from the perspective of Translator Behavior Criticism. Through analysis, Yang Yi’s translator behavior is inclined to be “utility-attaining” according to the “truth-seeking-utility-attaining” evaluative model of continuum towards translator behavior, besides, her translator behavior has high rationality, which is in accord with the general principle of “truth-seeking oriented, utility-attaining foremost”.
