Abstract：Abstract：As a representative of the American “Beat Generation”, Jack Kerouac applies the unique spontaneous writing to his fiction, poetry and painting creation. Analyzing his works in depth we have found that his style blurs the boundary of time and space, advocates instantaneous spurt and free flow of thoughts, and achieves the fusion of the author’s thoughts with themes. It is characterized by the fusion of time and space, multiplicity of themes, complexity of narrative levels, and so on, which satisfies both the readers’ aesthetic psychology and the desire of the author’s emotional flow, revealing the author's inner world. As an enthusiast of spontaneous writing, Kerouac wanders between consciousness and unconsciousness, and at last arrives at the peak of the “Beat Generation.”
