Abstract:Abstract: The article makes a philosophic inquiry into the four attributes defined in Somatics of Translation, namely, dialogics, anwesenheit, sense in feel and sense in flesh, in an attempt to deconstruct the principles of Dualism, Instrumentalism and Perfectionism which have defined and confined the ideology of Western Translation Studies. It proposes that the ultimate purpose of Somatics of Translation is to liberate the body of translator from the ideology in studies so as to acknowledge his feel in translating.
