Abstract:Abstract: As the ecological problems become extremely prominent, more and more linguists devote to discovering and analyzing ecological problems by investigating linguistic issues. In the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics, this paper undertakes a case study on wildlife in CCL to show the wildlife-related language features by transitivity analysis on the basis of the statistical data and discussion of process types, the verbal groups realizing process roles and nominal groups realizing participant roles. The data demonstrates that the status, subjective activity, perceptivity and movement domain of wildlife and human in the ecosystem construed by language show disparate features, and in this way disclose the three wildlife-related ecological issues of Chinese and reveal the current situation of wildlife in our country.
