Abstract:Abstract:Translation activities have been changed enormously in the aspects of concepts, forms, and methods for the past few years. Regarding the book of Howard Goldblatt’s Translation Studies, this article analyses Howard Goldblatt’s translation concept, translation strategy, and ways of translation and dissemination. The attempt is to clarify the vague understandings arisen from the analysis of Howard Goldblatt’s translation practices, and rethink the practical and theoretical problems concerning his translation studies and evaluations. The discussion of this may help further understand his translation thoughts and practices, offering references for Chinese literature translation and Chinese culture’s Going Out.
