Abstract:Language planning is a problem-driven branch of linguistics that aims to influence the evolution of language through conscious human activity and to regulate the relationship between people, language and society. From a linguistic perspective, the laws of language are the disciplinary foundation of language planning. Language is a human-driven complex adaptive system, and the essence of language planning is to consciously drive the evolution of language so that it better serves people, society, and the nation. Language planning research should emphasize the role of theoretical patterns, seek universal laws of conscious human influence on language evolution, and use these laws to solve real-world language problems.
